Chronic Dry Eye Clinic
Do you suffer from chronic dry eye? Environmental conditions, exposure to smoke, wind and dry climates can increase tear evaporation resulting in dry eye symptoms.
Dry eye syndrome is a condition that results when your eyes are not able to adequately maintain proper moisture levels. This is either an inability to produce enough tears or a deficiency in the makeup of the tears you produce. Regardless, it results in the eyes being unable to eliminate irritants such as dust.
At Mountain West EyeCare, dry eyes can be diagnosed through a comprehensive eye examination to determine the quantity and quality of tears produced by the eyes. With the information obtained from the exam, our doctors can determine if you have dry eyes and advise you on treatment options.
