Dr. Bethany Gillett brings a unique mix of clinical skill, personal warmth, and generational commitment to Mountain West Eyecare. Born and raised in Bountiful, Utah, she’s proud to carry on her father’s legacy of providing expert, relationship-driven eye care to families across West Valley City and the surrounding communities.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University, with a minor in Business Management, and later earned her Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University. Since then, she’s built her reputation on delivering personalized, high-quality care.

In addition to full-scope optometric care, she offers expertise in dry eye diagnosis and treatment, aesthetic procedures (microneedling, facials, and light-based skin treatments), and specialty contact lenses.

When she’s not with patients, Dr. Gillett is all about family. She’s married and a proud mom to her two kids, plus two Goldendoodle pups, Griffey and Maggie. On weekends, you might find her out on the water, wakeboarding or surfing, catching a soccer or basketball game, or scouting out a new local restaurant with her family.
