Glaucoma
Often called the “silent thief of sight,” glaucoma causes damage to your optic nerve, usually without warning. If left untreated, it can lead to permanent vision loss.
We monitor glaucoma using a combination of eye pressure testing, optic nerve scans, and visual field assessments. Our goal is to catch changes early, track them closely, and refer for treatment when needed.
Diabetic Eye Exams
Diabetes can damage the small blood vessels in your eyes and lead to diabetic retinopathy, swelling, or vision loss.
We provide comprehensive diabetic eye exams that include retinal imaging to detect early signs of disease. If you’re living with diabetes, yearly eye exams are one of the most important steps you can take to protect your vision.
Macular Degeneration
Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) affects the part of your retina responsible for sharp, central vision, the kind you use to read, recognize faces, and drive. It doesn’t cause total blindness, but it can make everyday tasks much more difficult.
We monitor AMD with advanced imaging tools that track subtle changes in the macula over time. If we detect signs of early or intermediate degeneration, we’ll walk you through your options, including lifestyle changes, supplements, or referral to a retinal specialist if needed.
Cataract Evaluations
Cataracts are a natural part of aging, in which the clear lens in your eye becomes cloudy, making your vision appear dim, hazy, or yellowed. You might notice glare from headlights, difficulty seeing at night, or that your glasses no longer feel “strong enough.”
We evaluate cataracts during your medical eye exams and monitor their progression. If they begin to interfere with your daily life, we’ll refer you to a cataract specialist for removal.
